I actually don't like this picture. I don't know if I didn't notice while I was taking it, but I don't like the middle of the picture being the brightest because it draws my eye there and there's nothing there! It's actually the one place in the picture that has nothing important in it. Which is weird that this is the picture that I picked, but huh. What can you do.

Better luck next time. I'll just have to take it again =)

I LOVE the light streaming through the trees. That is one of my favorite things about Frye. I don't know why it's specific to Frye for me, but it is always something that reminds me of the island.

I also kind of like the reflection in the window of the cabin next door. I think that's a cool thing that I didn't notice while I was taking the picture.

Went to Portland for dinner tonight con mis padres y mi hermano.

Thought this building was pretty sweet. And the sky was grey, so it turned into this picture that looks like it's in B+W, but it really isn't! I think it's cool...

Double rainbow during a ridiculous sun shower.

This is one of those things that I love about the summer- you never get double rainbows during the winter!

Not a spectacular picture, but a pretty fun experience.

I took this picture without the seagull, too, and it just wasn't even half as good.

The sunset was more colorful in real life, but there is only so much imitation a camera can do. =)

I like the grasses and the fence in the lower left-hand corner.

I love so much the clear relationships in this picture. There's so much trust and love!

God I'm such a sap sometimes.


We had some hangout time before a potluck and then worship on the beach. It was a really cool way to get to know each other, in a pretty unique setting (for church, anyway).

I love that there is so much motion in this picture.

The girls are moving, their shadows are moving, and their reflections are moving, as well as the movement of the ocean and the wave that Rachel is stepping in.

I also love that they have both a reflection and a shadow- that is just too cool.

This was in the back of Maxine's yard. Pretty typical Northern Maine, as far as I've experienced, although usually it's refrigerators or washing machines, not cars. But to each her own, I suppose.

I liked this picture out of the 18gazillion fire pictures that I took because of those two flames at the top- they look like they're just dancing there on top of the other fire. I love that. Fire is a fascinating (and hard...) thing to take pictures.
