Jamnesty!
Woo!
This was the ridiculous disco band that played when the sun went down. =)
It was an execllent time.
And I really love the light in the background there- hah!

I had two sky shots from today, but I liked this one the best because I like that it shows a different part of campus than I usually photograph. I also like that you can kind of see the sidewalk and the lines of the road- it's not entirely natural.
I don't really remember what inspired me to take this picture, but it turns out that I like it!

I don't know why I thought it was okay to take this shot crooked and then not fix it. I'm reallyreally bummed about that.
I'll have to recreate it next year.
I thought the geometry was fun (HAHA it's geomeTREE, right guys? right?!).
Oh the caf.

I just really love laminating things.
Got to use copious lamination for our reading walls (there will be pictures in the future...).
These are characters from my favorite children's book that I laminated for our wall. LOVE IT.
The dinosaur is Edwina. =)
I also thought it was cool that they came out of the laminator in this pattern- they kind of look like they're falling...

Fountain by the library.
So much time in the library. Good thing I like it there.
You know, college libraries were a huge thing for me when I was checking out schools? Good thing Stonehill has a kickass one =).

Daddy!
He was picking up lady rocks for me.
(Lady rocks are the pretty white quartz ones. The others are all man rocks. I established this when I was like 5.)
Happy smiles in this picture. =)

It is a beautiful day on Frye Island.
I wish that stupid tree wasn't where it was, though, because I have it in all the corners of my pictures. GRRR.
Better luck (?) next time, though, I suppose. Hmh.
At least it was still positively amAZing. =)

Happy flower! =)
I Love Frye Island. And this is even before the actual Island! This was just while I was waiting to walk onto the ferry (a very cool experience, might I add).
It looks kind of like a butterfly I think (the pattern of the brown within the yellow of the flower).
Springspringsprinnnng!

We had a CRAZY thunderstorm today. It lasted one hour and ten minutes, and I know this because it started one or two minutes after I got to Lit and it ended one or two minutes before we left Lit. And it left behind some INCREDIBLE skies.
I thought I'd spare you guys the sky pictures, though.
So I took pictures of the pretty trees blooming by Duffy instead!

Take Back the Night was tonight.
We marched all across campus and this blackbird supported us with his song =)
He's so great. Sometimes I run by him on my runs- when I run at 4ish on Tuesdays and Thursdays, he's always in this tree singing to me.
I really really like this picture. It's one of my favorites from this month.

Greggo hates this picture, but I kinda like it. Forgiving the background (and my crappy use of light...), I think he looks sweet. Which I think he is. And he doesn't give himself enough credit for it. But whatever, enough with the psychoanalysis.
He was happy. That's nice.

What can I say besides Sunsets and Silhouettes? There really isn't anything else.
Except that I love the moon.

Obviously a cop-out from yesterday. It's semi-decent, again, considering my rush. Eh. I like it. Maybe it's just because I'm excited about the place... =)!

This is a little sneak-peek of the place that Dom's getting married!
...um he's not getting married in a shack in case you were wondering... this is the "ocean walk" behind the property of the inn. It turned out well, despite the fact that I literally took this and another one in ten seconds without changing my settings... I don't like getting left behind when it's freezing outside (or ever, I suppose).
It took me forever to decide on the B+W filtering on this one, but I did the best that I could. I think that, despite all of the things against it, it turned out pretty well! It's probably one of my favorites from this month so far... which I guess isn't saying much since it's barely half over... huh.
I'm excited for the wedding!

This is a blog day vs photo day.
This is what I see when I look out the window.
Please don't judge. I love me some sea creatures.

The open road. =)
Big sky, trees, and unadulterated me time.
I think Martha would consider this a Good Thing.

I like flowers, huh? haha!
There are just so many kinds and so many shapes and colors and whatnot, how can I not love them? I could probably do a different flower every day for a month from all the friggin flower pictures I have at this point. Hah.
I think this one is kind of exciting just for the flower itself, though, not because the composition is fabulous or anything. The brown in the middle makes me think of a butterfly, which makes me think of all the repetition in nature. =)

"Mother Mary comes to me/ Whispers words of wisdom/ Let it be."
Haha.
Oh Stonehill, you're so Catholic.
=)
Does anyone know where this statue is? I like having contests like this, haha.

It was beautiful out today. And I'm fascinated by the architecture of the Heights. They're so cool with their multiple rooves and ... mhmm.
I thought this was a cool angle, and it includes my favorite thing to take pictures of (the sky, of course).
I like all the different lines in the picture, too. =)

Kelly had her "To Write Love on the Sidewalk" program over the weekend and there were different things chalked all over the sidewalk in the village. =)
I really liked it- there were some pretty cool ones. This was the simplest and it was right in front of the Cotuit porch. I like walking by it every day when I come home.

This is one of my more favorite pictures from this year.
I just LOVE the yellow against the blue sky, and obviously I love the sky. And the picture kind of has a clarity that I like. =)
I wish the shadows weren't so intense, but all the pictures I took of these flowers on this day were very shadowy. =( eh.
This might be one of my favorites by the end of the year. Although who knows, because I'm less than a third of the way through!

Another of my late-night-oh-crap-I-forgot-to-take-pictures-today pictures.
I kinda like it though.
Can you tell what it is?
It's not a great picture, but it has some interesting lines. And we all know how I feel about geometry in my pictures.

I have a guest photographer today.
Patrick and Frank the flamingo had a picture sesh.
This is Frank's portrait.
I really like the two shadows on the wall.
Frank looks good in black and white for someone who's pink!

Kind of a cliche picture, but it was so gorgeous outside that I just had to take it.
This is our beautiful new (GAG) science center. And my favorite- the sky. =)

When we got back form Easter break, everything had popped! And it didn't hurt that it was absolutely goooorgeous outside.

This is some sort of pinky flowery tree (that's the scientific name) outside of the chapel. I stopped by on the way back from Sar's game with Lyssa.
Not suuuuper thrilled with this shot, but it's the best one. And I do like it significantly better than the others.
I wanted more singular flower and less tree, but there was an awful lot of tree there.
